yisuncloud Pickup · User guide

Built for pickup and hold workflows where customers check email: dry cleaning, print shops, phone repair, pharmacy holds, and retail special orders. Pick your industry for matching labels and default email templates. Most industries auto-generate a pickup number and send a welcome email at intake. No mail server setup — email only, no SMS.

1. Try first & sign up

  1. Try the form: open the log page without signing up (no real email sent)
  2. Sign up — enter email, click activation link
  3. Verify email → 15-day trial (400 emails/month) → real welcome and reminder emails
  4. Buy a plan when trial ends at billing
  5. After login, check shop settings for name, address, phone, industry, and default bin/shelf number.

Login email is for your dashboard only. Outbound mail is sent by the platform and shows your shop name.

2. Install to home screen (optional)

This site is an installable web app (PWA). Add it to your phone or desktop home screen to open the dashboard like a small app.

iPhone / iPad (Safari)

  1. Open pickup.yisun.cloud in Safari and log in.
  2. Tap ShareAdd to Home Screen.

Android (Chrome)

  1. Open the site in Chrome, menu Add to Home screen or Install app.

Shop PC (Chrome / Edge)

  1. Use the address-bar Install icon or browser menu → Install this site.

3. Choose industry

Industry changes button labels, form fields, and default email templates. Examples:

Change industry later in shop settings; manually edited templates are not overwritten.

4. Pickup numbers (bin + shelf + sequence)

Like a parcel locker: bin number + shelf layer + sequence within that layer. Sequence auto-increments and frees when the order is picked up.

Examples:

Rules: 货架号+层数+序号(如 45 号货柜第 0 层首件为 45001). Set a default bin in shop settings. For thermal tickets, use yisuncloud Print.

5. Daily: log a pickup

  1. Dashboard → + Log… (label varies by industry).
  2. Enter preferred name, customer email; for numbered industries, bin and layer.
  3. Laundry: category plus optional color/size. Other industries: item description.
  4. Set expected date (or days until ready — defaults vary by industry).
  5. Tap Save and send welcome email.

What happens on save?

  • Immediately: pickup number assigned + welcome email sent (electronic receipt — no prior consent needed).
  • New customers also get a consent email for future pickup reminders.
  • Returning consented customers: welcome only — no duplicate consent mail.

At pickup, ask for the pickup number or look up by registered email. We do not store customer phone numbers by default. This site does not print — use yisuncloud Print for paper slips.

Email receipts are not tax invoices — they are pickup notifications for daily verification. Shop sales tax and customer invoices are your responsibility.

8. Reminders: Notify now + automatic

Notify now (recommended)

When an order is ready, tap Notify now on the dashboard — customer gets email immediately with pickup number.

Automatic on due date

Or set an expected date only: on that date (if still open and consented), the server sends one reminder per customer per day max.

9. Complete, reschedule, import

Reschedule

Customer calls or replies to email → you confirm → dashboard Reschedule → optional notify customer (number unchanged).

Order complete

Tap Picked up / Returned — number is freed for reuse; completion email sent automatically.

Welcome vs consent email?
Welcome (with number) sends immediately. Consent only controls future reminders.
Need a second email at pickup?
No — use the pickup number. Completion email sends when you mark picked up.
Do I enter pickup numbers manually?
No — system generates them from bin + layer.
SMS?
No — email only.
Print paper receipts?
Use yisuncloud Print with the same email to import and print.
Import from Book?
